Faqs

Below  are answers our most frequently asked questions!  Can't find the answer you need? please get in touch, we are here to help. No questions are too silly!

✦ Do I need to book in advance, or can I pop in?

We welcome walk-ins for tattoos where availability allows but bookings take priority. All piercings are offered on a walk-in basis. If you’d like to check availability before heading down, feel free to get in touch

✦ What’s your minimum charge for tattoos?

Our minimum charge for tattoos is £40, this covers the supplies used for setting up the station and time taken for drawing designs.

✦ How do I book a tattoo or piercing consultation?

You’re welcome to pop in for a consultation anytime, or you can contact us to arrange an appointment. Consultations are free, with no pressure to book - you’re always welcome to take time to think things over.

✦  How long does a session usually take?

Piercings typically take around 20 minutes. Tattoo sessions can range from 30 mins to 6 hours depending on the piece, with full-day sessions usually lasting 5–6 hours and half days roughly 2-3 hours.

✦  Can I bring a friend with me to my appointment?

You’re welcome to bring a friend along. We kindly ask that you limit this to a maximum of two people to keep the space comfortable for everyone. Due to the size of the piercing room, only one friend can accompany you for more intimate piercings.

Can I take breaks during my tattoo or piercing?

Of course. We encourage breaks during longer tattoo sessions to help you stay comfortable. For piercings, we’re always happy to give you a moment to breathe and prepare - just let us know what you need.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept cash and bank transfers for all services!

✦  Do you sell or recommend aftercare products?

We stock Butterluxe tattoo aftercare balm and Steripierce saline spray. We’re always happy to recommend products suited to your skin, and a reliable alternative we often suggest is unscented Palmer’s Cocoa Butter.

✦  Are your staff fully trained and experienced?

All of our tattooists and piercers are fully trained, experienced, insured and registered with the local council. Registrations are displayed at each station, and we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have.

 Is the studio accessible?

Yes, our studio is accessible with both tattoo and piercings services available on the ground floor. We also have mobility aids in the studio (e.g. mobility ramp, stools for ease getting on/off beds) and there are privacy screens available on request.

Will my tattoo or piercing hurt?
There’s no way around it - tattoos and piercings can be uncomfortable, though the level varies depending on the area and the individual. We’ll always work at your pace to make sure you feel comfortable and ready before we begin.

✦  How do I choose the right artist for me?

You can explore our artists and their portfolios on the ‘Meet the Team’ page. If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to chat and help match you with the right artist for your idea.

✦  Can I bring my own reference images?
Absolutely! Reference images are really helpful in bringing your ideas to life and ensuring we understand exactly what you’re looking for, whether it’s a tattoo design or piercing or jewellery placement.

✦  What types of piercings do you offer?
Kim offers a wide range of piercings, which you can find on her price list. If you don’t see what you’re after, feel free to reach out - not everything is listed by name.

✦  How do you maintain hygiene and safety in the studio?
Hygiene and safety are a top priority at Sacred Fury. We follow strict council guidelines, with regular cleaning of all areas using medical-grade products. Stations are thoroughly sanitised between clients, and all needles are single-use and disposed of safely in sharps containers. We take every step to ensure a clean, safe environment for both clients and staff.
